GE G3 Full Retrofit
TurbinePROs field services was selected to perform a major turbine-generator retrofit of HP, IP, 2- LPs, generator rotor/ stator rewind.
A project execution plan was developed nearly 3 years in advance. Components were received and parts were staged to prepare the turbine deck including an auxiliary crane to help expedite the process. We worked closely with the client and the EPC contractor to develop the project execution plan.
Tops on/ tops-off major steam path alignment criteria was developed.
Retrofitted entire centerline including inner and outer cylinders, major internal components including blade rings, all turbine rotors, and diaphragm.
